Livigno Skipassion: On the Slopes Towards the Olympic Dream

The Winter Olympics have finally arrived, and Livigno is ready to experience a moment that will be etched in history forever. This is an extraordinary emotion that we want to share with every one of you. At Livigno Skipassion, our commitment is to ensure the snow experience you deserve: excellent, seamless, and adrenaline-filled, even as the eyes of the world are upon us.

To allow you to enjoy every turn in the heart of the Games, we have optimized access and logistics for both mountain sides. Here is all the information you need to make the most of your skiing.

Towards the Olympic Summits: Shared Lifts and New Access Rules

During the Olympic period, you will have the unique opportunity to breathe in the adrenaline of the Games right from the start.

Specifically, Gondola n.3 Mottolino and n.11/12 Carosello 3000 — the main access routes to the competition fields — will be open to the public exclusively for uphill travel from February 1st, 2025*, and during the races. These lifts will be for mixed-use, shared between athletes, teams, and the public: an unrepeatable chance to reach the peaks side-by-side with the stars of the Games, while respecting the established priority and safety regulations.

*Note: Based on current timing, this refers to the ongoing Olympic season operations.

Mottolino Side: Updates and Access

Starting January 25th, the Mottolino side will be transformed to host the competitions. For this reason, the following organizational changes are in place:

• HQ Mottolino: This will become a dedicated hospitality area for athletes and teams and will not be accessible to the public.

• Rental & Ticket Office: The rental shop at the HQ will be closed (delivery service to partner hotels is available), while the ticket office will remain operational at the gondola departure station.

• Closure of Slope n.3: From January 25th, this slope will be closed to prepare the Olympic PGS (Parallel Giant Slalom) course.

• New Oakley Flow Park: Starting January 26th, you can enjoy the new Oakley Flow Park track, designed to get you into the "flow" and improve your skills lap after lap.

Where to access the Mottolino side?

From January 25th to February 24th, we recommend using these 5 access points to avoid wait times:

Carosello 3000 Side: Operations

The Olympic atmosphere is just as strong on the Carosello 3000 side, but with minimal impact on overall skiability:

• Zuelli Slope: From January 7th to February 22nd, only the lower sections of the slope will be affected by work.

• Centrale Slope: From February 1st to 15th, closure is limited to the lower section.

• Return to Town: The ski run back to the village will always remain active and will end regularly in the San Rocco area.
