Roads to reach Livigno by car and by motorbike

Getting to Livigno by car from Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria

Accessible roads all year round

From Milan SS36 to Lecco, continue as far as Colico, take Stelvio SS38 road towards Sondrio-Tirano-Bormio, then SS301 of Foscagno Pass to Livigno.

Accessible roads in summer only

From Milan SS36 to Lecco, continue as far as Colico, take Stelvio SS38 road towards Sondrio-Tirano, enter Switzerland (border of Piattamala) towards Poschiavo (Canton Grigioni), then to Livigno through Forcola Pass.

From Milan SS36 to Lecco, continue as far as Colico, take SS37 road towards Chiavenna, enter Switzerland (border of Villa di Chiavenna-Dogana) towards Passo Maloja-St. Moritz, then reach Livigno through Bernina Pass and Forcola Pass.

 

Getting to Livigno by car from Triveneto, Emilia, Central and Southern Italy

Accessible road all year round

From motorway A22/E45 exit at Bolzano South to the highway towards Merano, take SS38/40 in the direction of Resia Pass as far as Glorenza, then SS41 towards Tubre/Taufers, enter Switzerland (border of Müstair), then reach Livigno through Fuorn Pass and Munt La Schera Tunnel (border of Gallo Pass).

 

Getting to Livigno by car from Northern Europe

Accessible roads all year round

From Landeck (Austria) reach Zernez (Switzerland towards St. Moritz), then in the direction of Fuorn Pass and get to Livigno through Munt La Schera Tunnel (border of Gallo Pass).

From Zurich (Switzerland) reach Landquart, then continue towards Klosters and get the Vereina-Tunnel train. From Susch continue in the direction of Fuorn Pass and reach Livigno through Munt La Schera Tunnel (border of Gallo Pass).

From Zurich (Switzerland) reach Landquart, then continue towards Davos as far as Zernez through Flüela Pass, follow Fuorn Pass and reach Livigno through Munt La Schera Tunnel (border of Gallo Pass).

From Zurich (Switzerland) reach Landquart, then continue to Coira, Thusis, Tiefencastel and St. Moritz through Julier Pass and get to Livigno through Bernina Pass and Forcola Pass.
