World Rookie Fest is back in Livigno. New in 2022: the first Snowboard & Freeski Edition

The Black Yeti returns to the always-perfect Mottolino Snowpark in Livigno doubling up in style: not just the snowboard contest, in fact, the World Rookie Fest 2022 will also host freeskiers for the first time. 

Since 17 years World Rookie Fest has been synonymous with aggregation, fun, international competition and friendship, and represents one of the most prestigious youth snowboard events on the planet.

For this reason, starting from the 2022 edition, the Black Yeti wanted to extend the invitation to this iconic event, also to the freeskiers community.

A whole week of activities on the slopes and in Livigno

As an almost twenty-year tradition dictates, the event will be accompanied by countless collateral activities that will make your stay in Livigno an unforgettable experience.

In fact, the competition days will be accompanied by a rich lifestyle program to guarantee all participants seven unforgettable days of stay in Livigno.

From artistic workshops to night jams, video premieres, aperitifs and parties in the busy competitive program that will allow you to discover the Champions of tomorrow.

Among the many activities we highlight that Mottolino, associated Skipass Livigno, will make available to the competing athletes several training sessions on the Big Air Bag in order to fill the program on the slopes even on days without competitions, and to have the opportunity to train together with many qualified athletes for the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics.

To ensure safe fun for everyone, particular attention will be paid to compliance with anti Covid-19 regulations.

Amazing rewards for those who will step on the podium

All snowboards and freeskiers who will get on the podium of the respective rookie, grom, male and female categories, will be qualified for the World Rookie Finals 2022.
In addition, Surf Camps in Spain offered by our partner surftolive and many prizes from sponsors Nitro, Volkl, Marker, TSG, Jail Jam, Boardriding.com and others to be defined.
Finally, a special prize will be reserved for the Best Snowboard Team of the event: they will be invited to participate in the world finals of the new “Red Bull Hammers with Homies” team contest.
